One of the classic food experiences in Rhode Island. Newport Creamery offers up their classic food and ice cream options that are always a comfort food which hits the spot. I went today for a quick lunch and was served by Lisa who has a great attitude and attention to service. I ordered the tuna melt and man... That thing hit the spot. I work nearby and will stop in regularly for some good food as time goes by.

Fast tasty food and amazing"Awful Awful" shakes with friendly service at a decent price. Had the Super Chicken sandwich which was good (not super good) but the onion rings were great and the to go Cheddar Cheeseburger was a hit and perfectly cooked. Happily accommodated our party of 8 speedily too and offered split checks for convenience.

I ordered pickup online, when I got home I realized there were no French fries, I called the restaurant and explained what happened, the manager Jared, was more than helpful, apoligized for the confusion and offered for me to come back and pick up a fresh order since I was only 5 minutes away. The staff was great.

Came in hit lunch and an Awful Awful. Got the Smokey Mountain BBQ Burger. The burger was great, the fries were excellent and the Awful Awful was fantastic. Service was great as well.

Newport creamery is a RI icon. Sad some have closed but grateful some have remained open. The manager waited on us while we ordered our sundaes to go. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The icecream was good and fresh. A bit disappointed they don't have the "cowlick" anymore or the buy one get one Monday awful awful. Bring these back please.

They had a promotion running for some kind of spooky milkshake option that had a little ghost decoration on top. I wanted a different ice cream, but still kinda (really) wanted to see what the ghost looked like. I asked if I could have a ghost on my ice cream. They gave me a ghost on my ice cream. 10/10, adorable ghost, loved it, would visit again. (The ice cream was pretty delicious too)
